Fiesta Bay Travel, Florida is offering an unbelievable travel deal that seems too good to be true.?
A fax came to our office from the Corporate Travel Dept, doing business as Fiesta Bay Travel with an offer of a Bahama cruise, a trip to Honolulu and an Orlando resort stay for under $ 315.00 per person for up to 4 people. Has anyone had any dealings with this company or gone an any of their trips? Thanks for any info. Nancy

Answer by Maverick
No, never have done business with them and if what you wrote is true, they are probable selling ocean view property for $ 100.

Answer by Chinook Boy
The fax that came to your office violated several federal laws in that it contained no fax number of the sender and it was unsolicited. So if they are violating federal law soliciting your business, how do you think they will perform once they have your cash in hand?

How do you get the best deal on flights or hotels from travel sites such as Orbitz or Priceline?
I want to book on a travel site since I know they offer the best deals. Are there any special offers, coupons, promo-codes, or deals offered for travel sites to save me even more money?

Answer by Mohammed
If you are student try: http://studentbasecamp.us/student-discounts-directory

If you not and looking for coupon or orbitz or priceline check : http://www.retailmenot.com

Answer by Stephanie
Yes, you can go to www.Zupig.com for free and get coupons, promotional codes, and other discounts on travel sites as well as 1,000′s of other websites. Next time you book a flight or hotel with Orbitz, Priceline, Hotwire, Expedia, etc… Use Zupig.com I usually save $ 10 – $ 20 a trip just by going to Zupig before I book.

Answer by potatochip
The best thing to do is to buya package such as airfare plus car rental and/or hotel. You can usually save a bit by doing this. Whenever I travel, I use Orbitz and buy airfare plus car rental or hotel and can get a good deal. Just make sure you don’t wait too long otherwise the price does go up. As for promo codes, I don’t know any but you can always type Orbitz promo codes in the search bar and see what comes up.

If you join dreamtrips life from world ventures, you get your own travel booking website (like expedia) and access to over 700 vacations/trips to choose from this year alone. It costs $ 200 to join and about
$ 50 per month but if you refer four other people to join your monthly fees are waived. It’s a very nice travel club. Check it out at davidmurphy.worldventures.biz watch the videos with the numbered blocks on the left of the page for more info.

I need a good site where I can get the best deal on a travel package?
I want to take a trip in summer 2009, going from Florida to California, and I will be 18 years old then. I need to purchase a plane/hotel package for a week and I want to find the best deal possible. I also need to find a travel site that will let me book a package at 18 and allow me to check-in to a hotel at 18. Anyone know any good sites that allow my age to purchase these packages?

Answer by bjohn4693
I.ve been lucky with expedia but I think you need a credit card and I don’t know about the age limit.

Answer by hello12
Expedia and Travelocity are two sites that specialize in travel packages.

Answer by David C
try www.cktravelplus.com – I know the folks that run it and they have some very good deals.

They are based in Florida, too!

Answer by cub6265
Expedia and Hotwire. AVOID Priceline! They will charge more than you can arrange on your own. They ripped me off twice and customer service could have cared less.

Answer by cjharper30
I always use this site (http://www.travelfhtm.com/Offroad )it has the best deals. I don’t know about the age delima. Hope this helped!

what are some web sites besides expedia and orbitz that you can get good travel deal on?
thanks so much!

Answer by Lollygag
Travelocity and Priceline…I’ve used one of them, but I don’t remember which one anymore (they had good customer service though lol).

Is this a good travel deal to Cancun?
I will be traveling to Cancun in May 08 and have been offered to make my resort stay all inclusive for $ 45 a day (supposedly to include meals, transportation, alcoholic bevs and some recreation). I’ll only be there for 4 days so we’re talking about $ 180. If you’ve been there, does this sound like a good deal? Is it true that the resorts charge US dollars for most things like meals and bottled water? Any other advice?

Answer by Sherry B
Ask which plan you will be offered. There are different levels, and it sounds like they are offering the lowest one. You typically can’t just order whatever you want, there will be a predetermined menu or buffet. And as far as alcohol goes, it would probably only be beer, not blended drinks. Check into it and have fun! Be careful though, it seems Mexico is pretty dangerous for tourists right now.

live.pirillo.com – Travel can be expensive, and last-minute travel is even worse! If you’ve ever had to do this, you know it can be a major pain in the pocketbook.

Where is the best place to get a good all inclusive travel deal?
I would like to travel someplace interesting, and culteral. I live in south florida so tropical doesn’t really appeal to me to much, it’s 80 and sunny like everyday with beaches and palm trees.

I would like to spend about $ 500-$ 1000 each on my girlfriend and myself

Answer by Kris10
If you go to Expedia, they have a link for all inclusive packages. Just click on it and pick where you want to go. Good Luck!

Me and my girlfriends are planning a cruise for this summer. We are all college students and are looking for cheap cruises / flights. We want to go somewhere really hot!
Any ideas??
Thanks!

Answer by Daisy C
Carnival. That’s the way to go. I am 28 and my husband and I have been on 5 Carnival Cruises and one Royal Caribbean. Actually, we leave in 31 days on another cruise. Carnival is the fun ship. Don’t waste your money buying a room with a balcony because you don’t spend that much time in the room anyways. You can get a great deal if you get a room with up to 4 people in it. We went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise once and felt like we were on the Titanic. Carnival always has some type of activity going on. Endless activities. I even once applied to work for them because I figured since I go on so many cruises maybe I can get a good discount. Trust me. Go on a Carnival Cruise. Get one room for all of you and have fun. It doesn’t matter that the room is small, you are not going to be in it except to sleep. Oh, and do a 5 or 7 day cruise. If not you’ll regret it. Bon Voyage.

Answer by Paul in San Diego
I disagree with Daisy. I won’t go on a cruise unless I get a balcony. In fact, I always spend the extra money to get a suite on the back of the ship with a wrap around balcony. It’s very nice to have your own space to sit and look out at the ocean in privacy. Otherwise, you’ll be sitting up around the pool with a bunch of noisy kids running around.

As far as price, Carnival is cheapest across the board compared to all other cruise lines’ similar staterooms. However, I took my daughter on a Carnival cruise once, and she thought the ship was dumpy and the food not nearly as good as Princess or Royal Caribbean. I went on Holland America once and I thought it was a bit stuffy (not laid back enough) for my tastes.

Answer by ~*~Sitting, Waiting, Wishing~*~
Royal Caribbean, hands down. They can be a little more pricey but it’s worth it. I’ve been on 26 Royal Caribbean cruises and I would never do another cruise line. I did two Carnival cruises and they were terrible. The ships were run down and not clean. The staff was very rude and complained constantly and the food was terrible.

Princess!!! They’re cruises are amazing~very nice and fun (i’m not sure about the price, but i don’t think they’re all that expensive). i really recommend their carribean cruises~i’ve been on two and loved them both (fav. vacations besides a different princess cruise to alaska :) ). my favorite one left from florida and visited the carribean (including the cruise line’s own private island), the bahamas, and mexico. it had a nice, tropical partyish atmosphere~i think you would probably love it :)
but the best thing honestly is the staff–they are freakin AWSOME! :) they are seriously the most friendly and helpful people you will meet anywhere-i really loved the guy who cleaned our room. he was super friendly and always left me and my sister extra chocolates on our pillows at night. plus one time he made us a monkey out of towels and hung it from the cealing–it was really cute and creative. all the staff really go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing cruise :)

A US-operated Antarctic cruise ship with 160 people aboard has lost an engine in high seas, but is limping safely to its scheduled port. The Argentine Navy said the Clelia II declared an emergency on Tuesday, reporting it had lost an engine amid heavy seas and 55 miles per hour (90 km per hour) winds. The ship, operated by Polar Cruises of Bend, Oregon, has 100 passengers and 60 crew members aboard. Courtesy: jonbowermaster.com RT on Facebook: www.facebook.com RT on Twitter: twitter.com

What is the best way to shop for cruises online?
Its for my friend and I, we want to do a Disney cruise. What is the best website for buying cruises.

Answer by timetravler
I have used vacationstogo with great success. But just so you know going directly to a regular travel agent may get you even a better price or more perks. Plus a regular travel agent will not charge you anything, may have pictures of cabins, and give very good advice. I have booked through vacationstogo, directly with the cruise company, and with a regular travel agent. I prefer a regular travel agent now because it seems more personal.

Answer by mssharon
Try http://www.CruiseCompete.com.

Just pick your sailing, and travel agents will compete to offer you the best deal. As there are a lot of Disney specialists using this site, you’ll get some good pricing.
